In 2010 Reliance Standard increased our average case size, doubled our complement of field-based Voluntary/Enrollment specialists, made significant inroads with our Integrated Employee Benefits offering, set an annuity sales record, and deepened and improved distribution of RSL SmartChoice, our small-group benefits platform.
However, we credit our overall success in 2010 to a renewed focus on service delivery. Service is our "core story," our commitment to making Reliance Standard easy to do business with. From the largest technological advance to the most routine claim benefit payment, we are reexamining ourselves daily to find
areas in which we can improve.
