In 2007, John Hewitt Associates (JHA) completed a survey of almost 9,000 group disability brokers nationwide. Survey results were broken into four main categories: Overall Carrier Experience; Overall Sales Rep Experience; Proposals; and Account Management.  While Reliance Standard scored at or above the market in all categories, it was ranked #1 for Overall Sales Representative Experience for the middle market (100 – 499 lives). It is an important distinction, and one earned through reliability and service.

Reliance Standard has sales offices in all major markets—32 in all—and a field force of over 150 sales professionals. Since 2006, we have completely reorganized both field-based and consolidated Home Office service infrastructure under a national service organization (NSO) which reports—parallel to the sales organization—up to our Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing.
